Spring 2015: Accessory Trends

I have already written a post on the spring 2015 fashion trends, so I thought it would be nice to write something about the accessory trends as well. Attention to detail is always important when it comes to right looks. With that cute shirt dress you’re going to be wearing goes a nice shoe, bag, belt, or earring. So let’s see what we’ll be seeing in the stores this season.

The It Bag

In the last few years it has all been about the minimalistic clutches and hands-free satchels. This spring it will be time for the more outstanding statement bags again. The biggest designers showed their new It bags in their new collections in the NYFW. We can expect the Horsebit hardware from Gucci and the iconic logo from Dior is as never seen before.

Statement Earrings

We have already seen the double sided earrings, and that is just the beginning of the statement earrings. This season we will see even bigger, better, sparklier ear accessories. Designers came up with new shapes, but also missmatching earrings which will be an off-killer look to go for.
Also, I hope to see more of the earcuffs this season. I have not seen them much in the stores, only on the internet really. Let’s keep that a trend 😛

The Gladiator

I am so excited for this one! The Gladiator sandals! Who doesn’t love them? It really is a shoe you can’t go wrong with. The traditional Greek and Roman fare is reinvented in a myriad of chic ways. On the runway we saw them laced up to the knee (or even higher by Rodarte). I can’t say I like that style too much. I prefer them up to the ankle. In my opinion I think these shoes are always in style!
